"I Tried It!": VitaTops Deep Chocolate

VitaTops are muffin tops that you can toast or heat in the microwave. But, unlike traditional muffins, they are not loaded with fat and calories. One Deep Chocolate flavor has 100 calories and 1.5 grams of fat. And an an added bonus? A whopping 9 grams of fiber! (Now that's impressive.)

I had initially bought them as a snack, but I wondered if these little babies would be sufficient as a breakfast food. Well, yesterday I had one for breakfast with a banana and a glass of fat-free milk. I had a meeting that put lunch late -- 3 p.m.! The VitaTop held me over with no problem. (Could toast have done that? I think not!)

The best part is the flavor. I am one of those people who doesn't care for many "diet" versions of foods. I would rather have a small portion of the real thing, most of the time. But I promise, you will never know you are eating a "light" or "diet" food when you eat a Deep Chocolate VitaTop. They are rich, have a yummy flavor and decadant texture. And, when you heat them ... the chocolate gets all gooey like in a fresh-baked cookie.

Am I the last to know about the diet-wonder-food that is VitaTops in deep chocolate flavor? I've been missing out! As someone who wants ... no needs a daily chocolate fix, this treat rocks!

You can find them at many grocers or buy online from the manufacturer.
